More on Semiconductor Switch

Continued from yesterday’s article.  Here are the switches I compared.

Mechanical Push Switch (Tactile)

You hear click noises.

Relay

There are occasional pop noises.

Analog Switch

Not bad but click noise intermittently happens.

JFET Switch

 The most stable so far.

Other switches:

Attenuator  type.  Hard to eliminate leaks and pop noises.

Bipolar transistor switch.  Sound is not bad but DC drain due to base current is unavoidable.

KORG MS10/20 VCA type.  Not tested.
